Attending your place of work, the following Workshops
are for 1 hour (except where stated) duration and are
all a ‘hands on’ interactive learning experience.
A maximum of 14 are taken for each workshop.
Reduce Stress with Reflexology
An hour long workshop that will show participants how
to reduce their stress levels with a short 10-15 minute
treatment on their or their family/friends feet. A brief
description of reflexology is given, followed by a practical
demonstration of techniques. The remainder of the session
is given over to practice either on each other or themselves.
Reflexology is an excellent way to reduce stress, by
relaxing the body and helping the body to clear any toxins,
using specific techniques on reflex areas on the feet.
Excellent self-help workshop that will aid the participants
to ‘help themselves’ in stressful times ie
before important meetings, interviews etc, or to give
to family/friends.
Stress Management
Statistics show that up to 75% of all illnesses in today’s
workplace can be attributed to stress. It is now time
for individual’s to take stock of the pressures
on them and their families, and to look at ways they
can alleviate them by reducing stress.
The stress management workshop contains: A short relaxation
exercise; information on how to recognise the symptoms
of stress, in yourself and others; an interactive questionnaire
on individual’s own stress levels, which is discussed
within the group; how to cope with stress and finally
ways to reduce their stress levels significantly.
Reduce Stress with Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is an excellent way to reduce stress
by focusing on the main areas in the body affected, and
where we all feel the tension, ie shoulders, neck and
head. This workshop will enable you to give a short treatment
to family or friends, or to show them what you have learnt
to enable them to treat you!
An interactive 1 hour workshop. A brief description
of Indian Head Massage and its benefits is given, followed
by a practical demonstration of a short 10-15 minute
treatment. The remainder of the workshop is given over
to practice what individuals have learnt.
I have recently developed these workshops due to the
high demand of individuals and groups wanting to learn
self-help techniques, that can be applied at any time
they are required, when feeling stressed or tense.
Relaxation Techniques for Adults (1 hour)
This workshop combines different techniques including
relaxation exercises, breathing exercises, meditation,
visualisations, aversion therapy and a little self-hypnosis.
The workshop is one hour duration. There is opportunity
for participants to practise the techniques throughout
the workshop, with a little guidance, to ensure they
can easily use them when required in the future without
supervision.
Relaxation Techniques for Children (20, 30 or 45 minutes)
Similar to the Adults Workshop, this workshop combines
different techniques including relaxation exercises,
visualisations and self-hypnosis. The workshop can be
from 20 minutes to 45, and will be adapted dependant
on the age group involved. Suitable for all children
aged from 5 to 11. Giving the children exercises they
can do ‘anywhere’ when feeling any undue
stress or tension.

Therapy Tasters
I will attend your place of work and can give Therapy
Tasters of 20 minutes duration, for between 1 hour up
to half/full day. So the potential for all members of
staff to receive a ‘taster’ of their choice.
